THE RAISING SEEDLING MAT AND THE RICE RAISING SEEDLING METHOD ON A MULTISTAGE SHELF BY USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for raising seedling by making an upper mat and a lower mat respectively with vermiculite, zeolite, pearlite, etc., placing the lower mat in a rice seedling raising box, watering, sowing rice seeds, covering the upper mat and then putting on a multistage shelf is provided which permits healthy and uniform seedling raising of rice seeds and increases the availability of a seedling raising space. CONSTITUTION: A mixture of 70 to 90% by weight of one or two selected from vermiculite, zeolite and pearlite and 10 to 30% by weight of one or two selected from ground waste paper or waste newspaper is poured into a mold, hydrated under pressure and dried in a drier to produce an upper mat with a height of 1 to 5mm. A mixture of 50 to 60% by weight of one or two selected from vermiculite, zeolite and pearlite and 20 to 30% by weight of one or two selected from ground coconut coir pith and peat moss and 20 to 30% by weight of one or two selected from ground waste paper or waste newspaper is poured into a mold, hydrated under pressure, added with fertilizer and a plant growth controller and then dried to produce a lower mat with a height of 0.5 to 2.5mm. The lower mat is placed in a rice seedling raising box, sown with rice seeds, covered with the upper mat and then put on a multistage shelf.
