The present invention discloses compositions, combination therapies and therapeutic methods for treating CD40 + malignant tumors, as well as B-cell lymphoma and leukemia. The primary active agents of the present compositions are anti-CD40L antibodies or other CD40L antagonists that inhibit CD40-CD40L interaction. The compositions may additionally comprise or utilize combinations of any one or more of anti-CD20 antibodies, chemotherapeutic agents, chemotherapeutic cocktails, and radiation therapy to treat the disease.
