- Wireless upgrade method in wide CDMA wireless local loop terminal

PURPOSE: A wireless upgrade method for a W-CDMA(Wideband-Code Division Multiple Access) WLL(Wireless Local Loop) terminal is provided to easily change the configuration content of an FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) in case that the change item of the FPGA is generated in the WLL terminal previously installed in a subscriber by upgrading the content of an EEPROM(Electrically Erasable and Programmable ROM) in the WLL terminal in a base station by wireless. CONSTITUTION: A CPU of a WLL terminal checks whether data are received(S103). If the data are received, the CPU checks an error of the received data(S106). The CPU checks whether the error is generated in the received data(S107). If the error is not generated in the received data, the CPU temporarily stores the received data in a DRAM(S108). The CPU checks whether a transmission end command is received(S109). If the transmission end command is received, the CPU transmits a reception acknowledge response message to a base station(S110). The CPU stores EEPROM upgrade data stored in the DRAM in an FPGA configuration EEPROM through an IIC bus(S111). If the storage of the upgrade data is completed, the CPU restarts a system so that an FPGA is newly configured(S112).
