/ Method of Composition HTML/OCX Based Virtual Keyboard

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for embodying a virtual keyboard based on an HTML/OCX is provided to input all characters through a virtual keyboard by developing and editing the virtual keyboard easily using an HTML and an OCX without an additional application. CONSTITUTION: An OCX unit receives a keyboard value from an HTML source code and generates a keyboard value in a system. An application software controls a web browser, displays a virtual keyboard designed by an HTML on a screen and prevents a system focus from being transmitted to the virtual keyboard. If a predetermined button is clicked out of the virtual keyboard on the screen(S1), a key value is transmitted to the OCX(S2). When a system key value is created, the OCX performs input as an IME English mode at a key generation OCX simulate key stroke(S6). Otherwise, the OCX performs input as an IME Korean mode. In the case that a system key value is not created in the OCX, if a uni-code is inputted, a corresponding character of the uni-code is inputted(S11). If a uni-code is not inputted, the OCX copies a character string on a clipboard(S20) and copies the string on the current focus position of the system again. Thus, the character string is inputted(S21).
