TUBE FOR PROTECTING CABLES METHOD OF LAYING THE TUBE AND MEHTOD OF PULLING THE TUBE

PURPOSE: A cable protecting tube is provided which reduces saggings of the cable protecting tube which are generated between supporters, and improves tension-resistive performance. CONSTITUTION: A cable-protecting tube(10) is obtained, by attaching a tension member(14) vertically to the outside of a plastic body(12) of a cable-protecting tube, putting a plastic casing(16) on its outside and integrating the cable-protecting tube body and the tension member a body. This protective tube is laid, being supported, in such a way as to be movable in the longitudinal direction, with supporters being fitted to the top part of a sewerage pipe at appropriate intervals inside the pipe, and tension member anchors being fixed to both end sides of the sewerage pipe. By using these anchors, the tension member of the protecting tube is anchored with a tension applied to the tension member. Consequently, saggings of the cable protecting tube are reduced, and an optical fiber cable is set in without hindrance.
