PURPOSE: An unsaturated side chain compound, its preparation method, a polysiloxane liquid crystal polymer prepared from the compound, ferroelectric a liquid crystal mixture and a liquid display element containing the mixture are provided, to obtain a material having an excellent impact resistance and showing liquid crystal phase at a wide range of temperature. CONSTITUTION: The polysiloxane liquid crystal polymer is obtained by graft polymerizing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of the compounds represented by the formulas 4 and 5 on polyalkylhydrosiloxane, wherein A and B are identical or different each other, and are 1,4-phenylene, 2,5-pyridine, 2,5-pyrimidine, 2,5-pyrazine, 3,6-pyridazine, 4,4'-biphenyl, 5-(2-phenylpyrimidine), 2-(5-phenylpyrimidine), 2-(5-phenylpyridine), 2,6-naphthalene, 2,6-quinoline, 2,6-quinoxaline or 2,6-quinazoline, or any one between A and B is a single bond; R1 is a saturated or unsaturated alkyl group of C1-C20 capable of being substituted with at least one halogen atom or an alkoxyalkyl group of C2-C20 capable of being substituted with at least one halogen atom; X is -CH2CH2-, -CH=CH- or a single bond; n is an integer of 0-6; q is an integer of 1-15; s is 0 or 1; * represents an asymmetric carbon atom; R6 is an alkyl, alkoxy, alkoxyalkyl or alkoxyalkyloxy group of C3-C20; j is an integer of 3-17; and t is 0 or 1.
