PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling gate of iron ore storage hopper according to fraction of sintered ore is provided to automatically control fraction of sintered ore to be injected into a blast furnace by controlling the gate of the iron ore storage hopper according to data of grain size fractions of sintered ore displayed through a grain size analyzer. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for controlling gate of iron ore storage hopper according to fraction of sintered ore comprises a sintered ore grain size analyzed value transmission part for transmitting analyzed data of sintered ore of a sintering plant to a host computer(20-1) of ironworks and transmitting the data to postprocess, blast furnace central monitoring room(21), using a business computer(60); a signal input and output processing part in which the transmitted grain size analyzed values of sintered ore are connected to a blast furnace process computer(21-1), the blast furnace process computer(21-1) is connected with an ECC (electrical communication controller)(21-2) to convert the grain size analyzed values of sintered ore into electric signals, and the ECC (electrical communication controller)(21-2) is connected to a PLC (programmable logic controller)(21-3); a gate driving part comprising gear couplings and speed reduction gear which are installed along driving motor and shaft that control the iron ore storage hopper of a blast furnace plant according to the grain size analyzed values, and a plurality of sprockets and chains that are installed at the gate of the iron ore storage hopper; a sintered ore fraction control part for controlling the gate installed at the lower part of the iron ore storage hopper using a driving motor control panel(40-7) according to fractions of sintered ore by inputting electrical pulse values generated from an encoder installed on the side surface of the shaft into an electric signal input processing part of a PLC input and output unit(40-1); and a remote manual operation part comprising automatic control amount indication part and manual operation part so that a monitor(21-5) of the ECC (electrical communication controller)(21-2) is arbitrarily operated by operators regardless of fractions of sintered ore.
