METHOD FOR SETTING TRANSMISSION SPEED OF NO. 7 LEVEL 1 ACCORDING TO SSFA BOARD STATE IN MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for setting a transmission speed of a No. 7 level 1 according to an SSFA board state in a mobile telecommunication system is provided to receive the mount or dismount of an ST(Signalling Terminal) board from a state management block when the ST board is mounted or dismounted, change the transmission speed, and increase the transmission speed. CONSTITUTION: An S7TSH(Signal system No. 7 Test and State Handling) senses the mount of an SSFA board and transmits a signal to an S7DIR(Signaling system No. 7 Data Initial and Restore) for requesting the S7DIR to set a transmission speed. The S7DIR searches an index corresponding to an SSFA and an STP. The S7DIR confirms whether the corresponding STP is used in a board relation. If the STP is used, a 64K side is set up as 56K according to a kind of a remote station connected to the corresponding STP. Data to be transmitted to an S7MH(Signaling system No. 7 Message Handling) are set up, and an ST-classified clock is transmitted to the S7MH. It is judged whether the S7MH responds within a uniform time. If the S7MH responds within the uniform time, a signal bit speed setting is request until the STP is increased as 4 STPs. If the STP is 4, a setting completion response signal is transmitted to the S7MH.
