The present invention relates to an Erlang capacity analysis method and its operation method of a direct spread-code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) system that simultaneously provides voice and data services in a sectorized and per-sector traffic non-uniform environment. The method includes determining a maximum load sector among sectors, calculating a call blocking probability experienced by a voice and data call in the maximum load sector, and each service group satisfying the required QoS and GoSs. Calculating the Erlang capacity per sector as a set of input traffic load of the system, and considering the nonuniformity of the traffic distribution per sector and the available channel per sector, as well as the limitation of the channel element (CE) at the base station. Analyzing the Erlang capacity of the system has the advantage of improving the accuracy of the capacity analysis.
