PURPOSE: A hot air blower for blast furnace equipped with a sensor for detection whether or not connecting pipe is damaged is provided to sense air leakage caused by damage of a connection pipe for connecting checker chamber to combustion chamber of the hot air blower. CONSTITUTION: The hot air blower for blast furnace equipped with a sensor for detection whether or not connecting pipe is damaged comprises upper and lower covers(10,20) which are vertically mounted along the circumferential direction between guides(134), and on the inner surface of which a plurality of temperature sensors(11,21) capable of sensing temperature of leaked air are installed; a temperature sensing part(30) which is electrically connected to the temperature sensors(11,21) to monitor outputted temperature of the leaked air; an air leakage volume sensing part(40) comprising a receiving housing with a certain size that is adhered onto the upper surface of the upper cover(10), a rotation vane that is installed inside the receiving housing to be rotated by air leaked, a magnetic body that is adhered to the end part of the rotation vane to sense rotational speed, and a proximity sensor that is installed at the side of the magnetic body in which the proximity sensor being spaced apart from the magnetic body in a certain distance to detect magnetism; a rotational speed counter(50) which is electrically connected to the proximity sensor to count speed of the rotation vane; and a control operation part(60) for determining whether or not to operate an alarm(61) by comparatively analyzing rotational speed of the rotation vane outputted from the rotational speed counter(50) with temperature outputted from the temperature sensing part(30).
