FIELD: equipment for cleaning potable water and aqueous solutions. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is made in the form of filter having casing, upper and lower covers, supply and discharge branch pipes and water-splitting layer of fibrous polymer material or siliceous sand, active layer of material containing at least 5 wt% of graphen and/or fuller's earth and/or carbonic nanopipes and filler (silicate rock, aluminosilicate, silica), as well as neutralizing (conditioning) layer of sterilized carbonate rock, preferably dolomite, with all layers mentioned being arranged in succession downward of water flow in casing. Apparatus my be further equipped with additional layer of fibrous polymer or carbonic material arranged between active layer and neutralizing layer and/or behind neutralizing layer. Active layer may be formed of preliminarily ground and sterilized natural graphen- containing schungite mineral. Apparatus enables water to be cleaned from hazardous contaminants, pathogenic microorganisms and radical and ionradical particles.
