FIELD: foundry, metallurgy of non-ferrous metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: dust-like silicon waste is mixed in advance with wet aluminum chips. Prepared mixture is injected into aluminum melt in furnace by portions containing not more than 1.0% of silicon weight as aluminum melt. This melt is mixed to obtain solid-liquid state. Melt is kept in furnace under heating condition to total dissolution of dust-like silicon. EFFECT: effective utilization of dust-like silicon waste to alloy aluminum and to produce silumin, enhanced productivity of process of remelting of dust-like silicon in medium of solid-liquid and liquid aluminum and its alloys. 2 tbl
