SUBSTANCE: electric switch machine has electric motor, coupling, rocking boll and screw pair, auxiliary units, and rack locking and trailable mechanism all mounted in common case. Rack locking and trailable mechanism incorporates lock body wherein two cams are secured on pins in two separate planes to form, together with body and rack, integral movable structure; it also has pusher mounted for displacement along guide and closely coupled with rocking boll and screw pair nut provided with frictional travel limiters and flexible stop; all these components are coupled with round-section rack. Electric switch machine has also servo system depending for its operation on independent control of points and mechanism. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced safety of train movement. 2 cl, 6 dwg
