CONSORTIUM OF STRAINS OF MICROORGANISMS-DESTRUCTORS: BACILLUS SPECIES, AEROMONAS SPECIES, ALCALIGENES EUTROPHUS, ALCALIGENES DENITRIFICANS USED TO PURIFY SOILS, GROUNDS, WATERS AGAINST PETROLEUM CONTAMINATION

摘要

FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: consortium is isolated out of soils chronically contaminated by petroleum products at coastal area of the southern Far East. These are natural associations of oil- oxidizing microorganisms developed in soil as a result of prolonged impact of petroleum products upon soil biota. Oxidizing activity of the mentioned consortium according to the final product of oxidation corresponds to 2091 mg CO₂ during 30 d. Predominance of such a consortium lies in the opportunity to grow upon depleted nutritive medium and oxidize petroleum products at high velocity. EFFECT: higher efficiency of biological purification of petroleum-contaminated soils, grounds and waters at areas of bulk plants, oil fields, industrial plants and other objects.
