FIELD: oil and gas geology. SUBSTANCE: linear zones of spread of concrete pools-collectors of increased thickness identified as channels of secondary migration are exposed in base gas-and-oil complex within limits of territory remote from area of generation of hydrocarbons by geological and geophysical data. Relation between productivity of oil traps and their positions with regard to channels of secondary migration is established, reference localities where existence of channels of secondary migration and productive traps is proved are isolated and promising localities among adjacent in strike reference localities are assigned in zones of predicted spread of channels of secondary migration. Methodology allowing to map reference localities is developed with use of complex for seismic prospecting and structural-parametric drilling and procedure permitting to map both traps and channels of secondary migration is evaluated. This approach makes it feasible to create working model of formation and re-formations of fields which use enables positions of sites for seismic prospecting operations to be substantiated in order to map traps and channels of secondary migration on particular, most promising directions. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of prediction of oil- and gas-bearing capacity, raised factor of success of search and evaluation drilling operations and reduced usage of materials. 1 dwg
