METHOD FOR TREATING PATIENTS POSSESSING PERIPHERAL NERVE INJURIES AFTER LONG- TERM IMMOBILIZATION

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering medical training exercises at 9-9.30 o'clock at the first stage. Then, 40-90 min later, pulsating magnetic field with 30 pulses/min, 0.5-1.08 Tesla units induction is applied in contact mode to skin, through bandage or longuette along nerve trunks and muscles innervated by them. Total course is 7-9 procedures long. Electric stimulation with rectangular current pulses, paired pulses with fixed delay of 5 mc between them with discrete frequency increment from 1 to 10 Hz are applied at the second stage. Exposure time at each frequency is equal to 5-10 s. Distal and proximal points of peripheral and central segments of injured nerves and motor points of muscles innervated by them are stimulated.
