Reaction length of chlorine-containing jets L is found from equation , where m is number of sections on chlorine-to-solution reaction length on which jet surfaces are fully regenerated by HO-2ions; is volumetric flowrate of solution; d is diameter of injector nozzles; N is number of injector nozzles; τ_r is time of jet surface regeneration by HO₂ ions; specific surface area of phase contact σ is found from equation σ = πxNxd/[S-(πxNxd²)/4], where S is cross-sectional area of reaction zone.
