METHOD FOR TREATING THE PATIENTS WITH PLANOCELLULAR ESOPHAGEAL CANCER

FIELD: medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: in case of complex usage of simultaneous ray and mono- or polychemotherapy the total treatment course is conducted for 10 wk at an interval of 5, 6, 7 wk. Ray therapy is carried out from 3 open static fields at a single focal dosage being 1.8-2.1 gR per 5 d weekly. Chemotherapy is conducted by the commonly known preparations used in treating esophageal cancer in adequate doses. The method enables to prolong life duration of oncological patients.
