SUBSTANCE: according to proposed procedure rectilinear full-load estimated characteristic of turbodrill with new drilling bit and full-load estimated characteristic of turbodrill with worn-out drill bit are constructed and zones of unstable operation in these characteristics are connected by straight-line segment. Length of this segment is assumed to be wear-out criterion of rock disintegration tool. This segment is graduated by division into parts of equal length characterizing value of wear-out of rock disintegration tool which are used as criterion of normal operation of rock disintegration tool. Data on measurement of rotation speed and axial load in process of drilling and under discrete loading of drill bit from idle run to unstable operation of turbodrill are used to plot full load characteristic for new drill bit and series of full load characteristics in specified time intervals of test Degree of wear-out and serviceability of rock disintegration tool are determined by matching full load characteristics constructed by measured data and estimated full load characteristics. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of determination of moment of elevation of rock disintegration tool and possibility of its run to complete wear-out. 1 dwg
