FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering combination of preparations like Groprinosin and Acyclovir. The combination is applied as follows. Groprinosin is administered at a dose of one tablet of 500 mg after taking meals 4 times a day during 7 days at the first treatment stage. Acyclovir is administered at the second stage during 10 days. One tablet of 200 mg 5 times a day is given. Acyclovir is administered as ointment or creme applicable to lesion areas 5 times a day with 4 h long pause during 10 days. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 1 dwg, 3 tbl
