Calcium source for coral aquaria comprises (as calcium carrier) a stoichiometric mixt. of salts which (on dissolution in water or another solvent) forms calcium hydrogen carbonate, with simultaneous addn. of components which, together with the reaction prod(s)., result in sea salt which is identical to natural sea salt.
