The solar collector has a casing with several differently shaped metal plate profile frames, which are thermally separated from a reflection layer (8). The profile frames are screwed together and to collector holder hooks (27) on a base frame (25). An insulation layer (6) is held in a closed receptacle (9) formed by an edge U-shaped sheet metal profile frame (1), a lower aluminium rear wall (4) and an upper reflection layer.
