Formation of the crown edge in ceramic veneered cast bridges made of casting alloys and method for forming the crown edge in ceramic veneered cast bridges

The crown, made by using the normal techniques of casting, is provided with a recess regarding the upper boundary of the tooth (2.3) to be covered. A primary varnish (2.9) is first applied to the edge of the crown (2.4) and the bridge is added in a way which optimizes the conductivity between bridge (2.1) and varnish (2.9). The secondary varnish (2.10) is applied on the area between the edge of the crown (2.4) and the prepared tooth (2.3), the parts which are not to be galvanized are covered with a protection varnish. Finally the galvanizing process is carried out.
