Arrangement for determining the sequence of events in multiple vehicle crashes

The arrangement includes a carrier unit (K) for measuring the acceleration or deceleration of a vehicle. The amplitude, direction and temporal sequence of pulses generated on occurrence of an accident are registered based on the causal reaction pulses of the carrier unit and the resulting effect. The carrier unit is preferably arranged in a housing connected to the vehicle such that on impact the housing is caused to move from its rest position to another location in the vehicle where it is held fast.
