A hydraulic cylinder (1) activates a power sensor device hydraulically. The power sensor device can have two electric magnetically sensitive switches (12,13) fitted apart and operated electromagnetically by a magnetic piston (7). After each excursion of the magnetic piston one or the other electric switches is activated so that an airbag controller connected to the switches can adjust the release mechanism of the airbag to an appropriate weight category.
