Device for wireless transfer of position sensor signals to a measurement device (13) with a number of position sensors (16) positioned on the movement path of an object (11) that is to be detected. When the object reaches a fixed distance from a sensor an electromagnetic interaction generates or changes a signal received by the measurement device. The elongated measurement device can be an extended high frequency coil, the frequency range of which can selected at any frequency between radio and microwave. Position sensors can be either Reed or Hall switches.
