The seat has a movable seat support supported by an underframe which has a forward folding swing bar (34) which is mounted between a pair of rails (38) and the seat support and can occupy two positions, i.e. the normal position where the seat support is in the normal useful position above the seat adjuster device and where the swing bar is locked, and b) a forward folding position where the seat support is moved forwards relative to the seat adjuster device. A release member is provided to lift the locking action to allow the seat support to move forwards.
