The running gear has radially adjustable wheel sets, each with an axle (2) and two wheels (1). Spiral springs (5,6) arranged on both sides of axle bearing casings (3) have lower supports with at least one holder for each axle bearing casing. The upper ends of the springs lie over friction wedges (8,9) on sloping planes (10,11) of a holder (12) of the bogie frame (12). The side faces of the friction wedges facing the axle bearing casing press against the axle bearing casing.
