The lock mechanism and the saddle can be pulled out on an additional part (6,7), which is stored in the seat tube of the bicycle. The additional part can be pulled out and may be wrapped around a lamppost or other object. The saddle can then be locked onto a part of the bicycle frame, or to another object.
