A short-path vaporizer comprises a hollow cylindrical heated condenser body (2) into which a condenser (3) can slide. A rotor body (5) with wiper elements (6) is arranged between the vaporizer surface of the body and the condenser to distribute a liquid mixture onto the vaporizer surface. The condenser has a core (23) having an outer casing surface (24) on which a sheet casing (25) is formed producing a flow channel for the coolant. Preferred Features: The sheet casing is welded to the condenser core by a welding seam (29) extending in the longitudinal direction (L) of the condenser. The flow channel is formed by at least one groove (46) in the casing surface of the condenser core.
