The sheet guide device comprises guide bars (6) and is arranged after the sheet turn beginning in the region under the tangent point T of the print and sheet guide cylinders (1, 2) up to under the sheet guide cylinder (2) so that the sheet guide device is formed underneath the tangent point with a convex region (L) seen from the tangent point. The tip of the sheet guide bar lies close to the print cylinder. The sheet guide bars can be biased with suction air in the convex region.
