The anchorage comprises anchor rod (3), casing tube (2) and anchor plate (4) supplemented by an anchor bar (5) up to static requirements. The rod and plate are preferably screwed together and the rod is marked at the top end e.g. by slot, impression to guard against unintentional removal from the plate. The rod (3) is straight and the anchor headpiece is corrected in position by twisting the rod (3) in its thread before the annular gap between rod and tube is poured. Force is applied a the end of the free rod length to complete this. Plate (4) and bar (5) are preferably welded to one another so force is transfered from plate to bar by contact.
