Determining the dew point of the vapor in the atmosphere, comprising adjusting the physical characteristics of the sample and/or atmosphere, such that desired vapor condensation into or onto the sample takes place, is new. An independent claim is included for the apparatus including equipment for measuring dew point (20, 22) and apparatus (32, 24) to adjust properties of sample and/or its atmosphere.
