The video conference operating method has a repesentation of the video conference scene provided at each video conference terminal (3,4,5) as audio, video, or synthetic objects, with continuous updating of the video conference scene by actualised objects, the latter combined with executed functions and the terminals synchronised with one another for the video conference scene representation. An Independent claim for a video conference operating device is also included.
