The waste material ejection tool for a cutting press for paper or cardboard pieces used for production of packages comprises a support frame (1) with front and rear traverses (41,40) joined to each other by two lateral intermediary pieces (42,43). The supports for the ejection devices are fixed or telescopic needles (12) with a mesh network comprising several lateral and longitudinal support bars (3,3a) which are not displaceable in relation to each other. Fixation points (11) are provided at a predetermined location for the ejection components. The mesh network is on the one hand supported by one of the ends of the longitudinal support bars against the internal face of the front traverse and on the other hand is centrally fixed in relation to the central axis (72) of the frame support.
