The device consists of a vertical container (1) divided into three sections. The second section (1.2) contains mixer nozzles (9), to mix undercooled fluid and saturated steam/slightly overheated steam, so that complete condensation of the saturated steam is achieved. The third container section (1.3) the liquid supplied by the nozzles is constantly sucked off, and divided into two part flows, with one undercooled part flow being fed into the second container section, and a second saturated steam part flow being fed into the first container section (1.1). Second and third container sections are thermally separated.
