A selected mature tree at least 100 years old is felled in the waning moon and stored for 30 days, then lopped and debarked prior to renewed storage to edge moisture F1 in weight % up to 35. The timber is then sawn up into logs having moisture F2 up to 25 weight %. The tree is felled down the slope and its branches left in place up to 60 days. Drying is in the open air followed by chamber drying if need be. Coniferous pine or fire are preferred. The sawn timber for the cabin is stacked up vertically as in the grown tree and joined up without glue.
