Non-stick coating composition, e.g. for anti-graffiti coatings, contains polyfunctional carbo-siloxane, organo-silicon polycondensate and alpha,omega-functional linear oligo-siloxane
Coating compositions containing a polyfunctional carbo-silane or -siloxane, a polycondensation product of a hydrolyzable organometallic, preferably organosilicon compound, an alpha ,w-functional linear oligo-organosiloxane, an acid catalyst and optionally fillers and/or other additives. Coating compositions containing : (I) a polyfunctional carbo-silane or -siloxane of formula (I) (and/or a (partial) condensation product thereof), (II) a polycondensation product of hydrolyzable compound(s) of formula (II), with a solid content of at least 40 (preferably at least 50) wt% in a hydroxy-functional solvent, (III) an alpha ,w-functional linear oligosiloxane of formula (III), (IV) acid, basic or metal catalysts, preferably acid catalysts such as hydrochloric, sulfuric, p-toluenesulfonic, trifluoroacetic, trifluoromethanesulfonic, acetic or formic acid, and optionally (V) inorganic fillers and/or organic nano-particles; and (VI) conventional additives for coating materials. W((CH2)mSiR1nX3-n)p (I) R2aM(Y)b (II) in which R1 = 1-18C alkyl and/or 6-20C aryl; X = OH, 1-4C alkoxy, 6-20C aryloxy or 1-6C acyloxy, preferably OH, methoxy or ethoxy; n = 0-2; m = 2-6; p = 2 or more; W = a linear or cyclic silane or siloxane residue; M = silicon, boron, aluminum, titanium, zirconium, vanadium or zinc, preferably Si; R2 = non-hydrolyzable 1-14C alkyl or 6-20C aryl groups (optionally substituted with O, N, S and/or P; Y = hydrolyzable groups, preferably 1-8C alkoxy or 2-8C acyloxy, especially 1-2C alkoxy; a = 0-3, preferably 0 or 1; b = 1-4; (a+b) = 3 or 4 in which, Z = hydroxy or alkoxy; R3 = alkyl or alkenyl; c = 1-50, preferably 3-25 Independent claims are also included for: (a) a process for the production of these compositions by making a polycondensation product from (II) and optionally (III) in an OH-functional solvent by means of a sol-gel method and then mixing and homogenizing this with (I) and other optional components as above; and (b) anti-adhesive (non-stick) layers obtained by coating these compositions onto inorganic or organic materials and objects.
