A procedure for the processing of waste, garbage, domestic refuse, residual waste, fabric waste, etc which is collected in a bunker is subsequently passed to at least one conditioning device, especially a conditioning drum for the conditioning. The waste to be conditioned runs through the conditioning device continuously in a continuous procedure and is transported further for the further processing. After conditioning, a separation of the waste into a heavy fraction (7), a light fraction (8) and a fine fraction (5) takes place. The fine fraction is passed to a biological stage (9) for the anaerobic and/or aerobic further processing.
