The cylinder head, at the cylinder block of an internal combustion motor, has an inlet manifold for the fuel/gas mixture for combustion and an exhaust manifold for the exhaust gases. The cylinder head (2) is held in place by release fasteners inserted into the cylinder block (1) to lock it in place. The cylinder block has spaced rods (14), parallel to the plane of the joint between the cylinder head and the block, held by screw bolts (12) within threaded drillings (16).
