Aerosol body lotion comprises: (a) an aqueous-alcoholic vehicle containing an emulsifier, an emulsion stabilizer, a thickener, cosmetic agents and additives; and (b) a propellant with a boiling point of -15 to +40 deg C. An Independent claim is also included for production of the lotion by swelling the thickener in water, adding the alcohol, adding a mixture of the emulsifier and part of the emulsion stabilizer, adding the cosmetic agents and additives and the rest of the emulsion stabilizer, and charging an aerosol container with the mixture and the propellant.
