The insertion stator (1), for eccentric screw pumps, has a removable elastomer body (2) of rubber or plastics, with outer sections (3,4) at the outer surface of the elastomer body and with their longitudinal edges (3',4') facing each other. At least one clamp holder (8) is at an outer section and which shrouds the other outer section radially. The second outer section has movement at the clamp holder to vary the gap between the sections. At least one clamp holder (9) moves the second outer section along the other clamp holder.
