The method involves comparing the identifications (3) of a caller subscriber (2a) with that stored in a filter file (6) assigned to a called subscriber (2b), during selection of called subscriber by caller subscriber. If the identifications conform at least partly it is decided whether a connection between the subscribers is set-up. An Independent claim is also included for intelligent call control system.
