Cleaning device uses a filter (1) with a connection for the soiled water and a connection for the filtered water, provided by a sand bed filter deposited on a filter grid, with soiled water fed upwards through sand bed filter and circulated back in opposition to filtering direction via air/water mixture. Soiled water flow to filter and rinsing water for recirculation flow are controlled via respective magnetic valves (24,27). An Independent claim for a cleaning method for the soiled water resulting from a cleaning process is also included.
