The dry sump lubrication, for a vehicle internal combustion motor, has an oil pressure pump (2) and a suction pump (3) at the oil bath (9). The system has at least one further suction pump (4), where the pressure and suction pumps form a pump unit. The pumps are powered by a common drive shaft (5). A passage channel for the lubricating oil is at least at one housing of the pump unit, linked to the suction connections (10,11) of the suction pump trunks (12,13) with their free ends leading to different suction points (14,15) at the oil bath.
