Method for carrying out perfusion measurements using magnetic resonance imaging in which a time sequential series of image records of a particular image volume are recorded using a magnetic resonance device. At the same time any change in position of the volume that is being imaged is recorded. Finally the recorded position changes are used to correct the effects of such changes on the magnetic resonance images.
