The tool attachment (1) is driven by an operation component (3) and functions as a bordering tool to swage the end of the hose (7). The tool attachment has a pressure ram (4), which is driven to move axially, and co-operates with a pipe holder (8) to fix the hose end, so that the section of hose between the pressure ram and the pipe holder is swaged in the direction of the pipe holder and pressed axially to form a sealed band.
