The reference voltage source provides a constant output voltage with a value which is dependent on the ambient temperature, with a heating element (1) for heating the reference voltage source. The heating element can be used for heating a reference element (2), e.g. a Zener diode, with a temperature sensor (3) detecting the temperature of the reference element for controlling a switch (5) for the heating element.
