Production of azo dyes, where the diazotization of aromatic or heteroaromatic amines, or the azo coupling reaction are carried out in a microreactor. In the production of azo colors, one or more of the stages: (a) diazotization of (hetero)aromatic amines; (b) azoic coupling; (c) conversion to lake; or (d) metal complex formation is carried out in a microreactor.
