Lowerable solid glass rear window in motor vehicle, has steering levers between lateral edges of window and vehicle body for supporting guidance of window into individual positions

A bearing point (10a) by which horizontal bearing axis is formed, is provided at a lower transversely extending edge of a rear window (1). The rear window is swivelable on a vehicle body side about the bearing points. Steering levers (10,11) between the lateral edges of the window and vehicle body on either side, supports guidance of the window into individual positions. An independent claim is also included for method of changing a lowerable rear window between a closed and a lowered folding top positions.
